Mr. Rafał is warm and sociable father & husband. He loves to laugh and effortlessly entertained others. Unfortunately, a tragic accident drastically altered his life, causing him to almost stop smiling overnight. His participation in the 'Smile Metamorphosis' at Malo Clinic was his last chance.

Mr. Rafał, along with his wife, raises two children, leading a peaceful life. They lack nothing, except for Mr. Rafał's smile. The unfortunate incident not only changed his life but also impacted his entire family. Dad rarely smiles; he's self-conscious about it," confesses his daughter, Wiktoria, with sadness. Treatment of edentulism The accident happened while Mr. Rafał was working on a construction site. During a task he had performed many times before, a hefty wooden plank struck him directly in the upper jaw, causing him to lose consciousness. After a hospital visit, he knew the accident wouldn't end well. The doctors immediately stated that although he didn't lose his teeth right away, the roots were seriously damaged, and over time, the teeth would simply fall out. And so it happened. Initially, Mr. Rafał tried to salvage them, but subsequent visits to the dentist yielded no results. He lost almost all of his upper teeth. From being the life of the party, he turned into a recluse and ceased smiling. His entire family felt this, having to witness his suffering. Mr. Rafał was embarrassed about his teeth, or rather, their absence. Job hunting, making new acquaintances, and building connections became very stressful for him. He felt that everyone was judging him, attributing the worst qualities to him. The joy of life slipped away. Treatment at Malo Clinic When Mr. Rafał appeared on the day of the surgery at Malo Clinic, he was excited and nervous. Fortunately, like all our patients, the composure and smile of Dr. Anna Grabowska worked like magic on him. He slept through almost the entire procedure. Due to numerous missing teeth in the upper arch, the Malo Clinic Protocol technique All-on-4® was performed. It is an innovative rehabilitation concept that allows edentulous patients to get new, permanent teeth in one day without bone grafting, resembling and functioning like natural dentition. The surgical part of the procedure was performed by Dr. Anna Grabowska, involving the precise placement of four implants designed to be used even in patients with significant bone loss. These implants serve as support for the prosthetic Malo Clinic bridge. Then, the prosthetic part of the procedure was handled by Dr. Izabela Rajca. The prosthetic part involved in production of the Malo Clinic Bridge™, which, a few hours post-surgery, was permanently screwed onto the implants, preventing it from falling out or shifting. The bridge allows the patient eat & speak, enjoy functionality from the first day. In the lower arch, Mr. Rafał was missing premolars on both sides. The surgical team decided to do  individual implants. Our prosthetist, Izabela Rajca did also a composite reconstruction  called "bonding" of the lower front teeth. Thanks to the comprehensive approach and advanced solutions, Mr. Rafał now not only enjoys a beautiful smile but also newfound confidence. His family awaited him outside the clinic. They couldn't wait to see him; after all, they had been waiting so long for his smile! The joy knew no bounds.
