When the phenomenon of osseointegration – the permanent fusion of a titanium element with bone – was discovered in 1952, it sparked a dynamic revolution in medicine, leading to the development of dental implants. These implants made it possible to replace both single and extensive tooth loss. In 1998, Malo Clinic introduced the All-on-4® method, enabling the rehabilitation of edentulous patients.

Using removable dentures to replace missing teeth often results in discomfort and a lack of confidence, especially in social interactions. Additionally, the pressure exerted by dentures on the underlying tissues leads to bone resorption, which supports natural teeth, causing pathological mobility. The elements securing the denture to the teeth may also cause damage, ultimately leading to tooth loss.

The solution lies in implant treatment. Whether replacing single or extensive tooth loss, this approach is highly effective. The final outcome ensures full functionality and the highest aesthetics, ultimately improving the patient's quality of life.

Implants are typically made of titanium, a biocompatible metal with human tissue, and function similarly to natural tooth roots. A single crown can be placed on an implant, while two or more implants can support a fixed bridge that perfectly mimics natural teeth. Implants are also used as support for denture-retaining elements, such as locators or bars.

More than 25 years ago, the Malo Clinic medical team developed the All-on-4® technique, recognized worldwide as a revolution in implantology and a new era in the immediate rehabilitation of edentulous patients. All-on-4® has become part of the MALO CLINIC PROTOCOL, through which we rebuild a full upper, lower, or both dental arches in our clinic using a fixed bridge supported by four implants, secured on the same day as the procedure. In the vast majority of cases, the surgical phase does not require bone grafting or other reconstructive procedures in the jaw or mandible. For patients with significant jawbone loss, specially designed implants are anchored in the zygomatic bone.

Combining advanced techniques and high clinical standards, the MALO CLINIC team has developed numerous solutions and products related to implantology: MALO CLINIC Bridge – a functional and highly aesthetic fixed bridge, MALO CLINIC Surgical Kit – a surgical kit designed to optimize the surgical procedure, reduce its duration, and enhance patient comfort, and Nobel Speedy™ – a modern implant for immediate loading (allowing a temporary crown to be placed on the same day as implantation), developed in collaboration with Nobel Biocare, a Swedish company leading in implant research and production.

Main Tasks

  • Implant placement
  • Replacing missing teeth with implant-based solutions, ensuring high-quality final results
  • Restoring chewing function and improving phonetics
  • Implant-supported single crowns or fixed bridges that perfectly mimic natural teeth

For patients with complete edentulism or non-restorable teeth, the Malo Clinic Protocol guarantees the immediate restoration of full oral functionality. Patients leave the clinic with fixed teeth on the same day as the procedure. Compared to traditional methods, this approach is shorter, more comfortable, and financially accessible.
